I am actually kind of interested to know your opinion on this, this is something I have noticed and want to be sure I am not alone in this, I’d say almost any statistic on crimes of a sexual nature are too skewed to be reliable simply because most are never reported, do you think that is true? I am thinking it might be pretty accurate but that is me, and I have never seen a blog where I felt safe asking except here.

I think you’re right. I’d say the statistics are based on the averages of people who actually have reported in, but I don’t doubt they’re skewed. It makes me sad to think that those statistic numbers could be lower (“every ___ in ___ people” types of data) or higher (percentage-wise data).
